These pages relate to Richard Jordan, who immigrated to Isle of Wight County,
Virginia by 1640 and who died in Surry County in 1687, and to his descendants
through his son Richard Jordan. The papers below cover his
descendants to four or five generations.

I have added explanatory comments to these records to more clearly identify
their genealogical value.
