This line begins with Jacob Anthony, an apparent immigrant, who settled in Orange County, North Carolina about 1775.   Several of his children migrated to Bedford County, Tennessee in the early 1800s.  A descendant, Edward Young Anthony, eventually settled in Morris County, Texas where he married Lou Ella Witt - they were my father's grandparents.
